Everton fans react on Twitter to rumours Morgan Schneiderlin will stay

Some Everton supporters really don’t want Morgan Schneiderlin at Goodison Park next season.

Everton fans disagree with Marco Silva’s decision to give Morgan Schneiderlin a fresh start at Goodison Park.

Schneiderlin was expected to leave Everton this summer, but the Telegraph have claimed that Silva will offer the midfielder a reprieve.

The Portuguese boss is keen to work with Schneiderlin, and see what he can offer the Toffees in the season ahead.

The news has not gone down well with Everton fans though, as they were largely hoping to see the back of the former Manchester United man this summer.

I would take another punt on Klaassen tbh but where Schneiderlin is concerned he has had game time wasn’t impressive at all dismal most times he is inconsistent throughout last season, piss poor but Silva want to keep him bad move am afraid he looks arrogant as well

If it’s the player from his first season then I’d keep him. Whether he was playing for a move during the last few games he at least showed what he can do. If he wants to move on then let him & it takes a huge wave off the club for new investment.

Don’t get me wrong I think Schneiderlin is a good player hence y silva wants to keep him but I think he’s burnt his bridges with the fans and also his attitude

Schneiderlin’s strong run of form towards the end of the season may just have saved him from the chop.

The central midfielder was out of sorts for most the campaign, and his attitude was regularly questioned by the Everton faithful.

If Schneiderlin is to win over the Goodison Park crowd, he will have to have an exceptional season under Silva’s tutelage.

Schneiderlin looks likely to partner Idrissa Gueye in Everton’s midfield next term, unless Silva brings in a new central midfielder to add more competition.
