Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen struggled for first-team appearances at Goodison Park last season.

Klaassen endured a difficult first season with Everton, where he was regularly overlooked by Sam Allardyce.
But the Dutch midfielder has suggested that he is still convinced that he made the right choice by picking Everton.
“Coming to Everton was the right choice for me,” he said. “A club full of passion, suitable for my game style. I feel like I’m at home. I can’t wait to start the new season in Everton.”
The comments have impressed Everton supporters, who are now keen to see Klaassen given more of an opportunity.
Klaassen had been a star player before moving to Goodison Park at Ajax, but he has struggled at Everton.
The 25-year-old seems to have failed to get to grips with the pace of the Premier League, and has only been offered limited chances so far.

Klaassen could benefit more from having a manager that promotes a passing style, like Marco Silva next term.
If Klaassen is to break into the Everton team, he will have to break into Silva’s line-up ahead of the likes of Idrissa Gueye, Tom Davies and Morgan Schneiderlin next season.
