The performance of the Belgium international was far from impressive, as he failed to make an impact for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Lukaku joined United from Everton in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £75 million.
The 24-year-old striker has scored seven goals and provided one assist in eight Premier League appearances for the Red Devils so far this season.
