Everton are reportedly interested in signing Raul Jimenez from Benfica in the summer transfer window.

Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Benfica forward Raul Jimenez in the summer transfer window.

According to Portuguese publication Record, Premier League club Everton are interested in signing Jimenez from Benfica this summer.

It has been reported that the Toffees have made an offer of €45m (£39.6m), but the Portuguese club will only accept a transfer fee of €50m (£44m).

Everton are not the only club from the Premier League who are reported to be interested in securing the services of the Mexico international forward.

According to Portuguese publication A Bola, Liverpool and West Ham United want to sign the former Atletico Madrid striker as well.

Jimenez joined Portuguese giants Benfica from Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £713,000.

During the 2016-17 campaign, the 26-year-old scored seven goals and provided one assist in 19 Primeira Liga appearances, according to WhoScored.
