Everton striker Oumar Niasse is reportedly heading to Premier League rivals Cardiff City on loan.

Everton fans have expressed their annoyance on Twitter that Oumar Niasse’s proposed move to Cardiff City is not a permanent one.

Sky Sports report that the 28-year-old striker is set to move to the Welsh club on loan until the end of the season.

If the move does go through then it will be Niasse’s third English club in a number of years having played for Hull City, Everton and now potentially Cardiff.

Throughout that time, he has struggled to maintain his place in the starting XI, with the Senegal international scoring 12 goals in 49 league matches.

Considering his record in England’s top-flight, one Everton fan on Twitter felt it was ‘stupid’ of the club to not sell him permanently because there are ‘too many bad mistakes’ on the club’s wage bill.

Another supporter echoed those words and stated ‘what’s the point’ in Everton having so many players out on loan, with the likes of Yannick Bolasie and Mason Holgate at others clubs until the end of the campaign.

Here is a selection of how Everton supporters have been reacting to Niasse’s potential loan deal to Cardiff:

If Niasse does move to the Cardiff City Stadium then he would join a team that is fighting to survive in the Premier League following their promotion last season.

At this moment in time, Neil Warnock’s side are one point and one place above the relegation zone as they take on fellow strugglers Newcastle United at the weekend.
