Everton’s reward for beating Lincoln City in the third round of the FA Cup is a trip to Millwall in the next stage of the competition.
The Toffees’ quickfire salvo in the opening 15 minutes, with Ademola Lookman and Bernard getting on the scoresheet, gave them a healthy lead.
Although Michael Bostwick halved the deficit for the Imps just before the half hour mark, Marco Silva’s side held out for the win and remain in contention for the cup.
Millwall, meanwhile, reached the fourth round having beaten Hull City 2-1 on Sunday, and with The Den being a tricky place to play at, Everton will have a tough game on their hands.
Both clubs share a mutual legend in Tim Cahill, who played for the Lions between 1998 and 2004, and again in 2018, while also spending eight years at Goodison Park.
