Everton have been linked with a move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.
Everton have had a busy summer transfer window, having spent close to £130 million on new players.
However, Ronald Koeman is still in the market to sign a striker, as he looks to fill the void left by Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United this summer.
Koeman has signed Wayne Rooney and Sandro Ramirez this summer already, but the Dutchman is still on the lookout for an out-an-out forward.
According to reports from French outlet Foot Mercato, Everton could turn their attention to Michy Batshuayi on the deadline day.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea last summer from Marseille, but he has mainly played second fiddle to Diego Costa last season.
Although Costa is facing an uncertain future at the club, Batshuayi is still behind Alvaro Morata in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Everton have also been linked with a move for Costa earlier this month, but the Merseyside club were not willing to match his wages.
As a result, they’ve turned their attention to Batshuayi, who has emerged as a “serious alternative” for the Merseyside club.
Everton fans have taken to Twitter to express their opinion, and many feel the Belgian striker would be a good addition to the side.
