Everton are said to be keen to sign Memphis Depay, but he may not be keen on the move.
Everton are said to be keen to snap up Depay from Lyon this summer, with Marco Silva looking for a new striker.
However, the Toffees may have to look at other options rather than Depay.
The Dutchman reportedly feels that a move to Everton isn’t prestigious enough for him.
And Everton fans have suggested that they weren’t particularly keen on signing Depay, who could have cost around £35 million (Metro), anyway.
Everton do have money to spend this summer, so they should be able to find a different option to play up-front for them next season.
For the Toffees even to be going after Depay should be seen as encouraging, as it was always an ambitious move for Silva’s side to make.
