Everton youngster continues to impress.

Everton look like a new side under Sam Allardyce, recording an impressive victory away to Newcastle last night.
Wayne Rooney scored the winner, but the victory was built on their suddenly solid backline.
A key player at the back was Mason Holgate, who earned Everton’s man-of-the-match award.
The young centre-back played well alongside veteran Ashley Williams, with the pair beginning to establish a partnership.

Holgate made seven clearances and two interceptions, and is looking incredibly assured for a 21-year-old.
The former Barnsley talent was played as full-back by Ronald Koeman, and it is looking like he should have given the defender more of a run in the centre.
Holgate’s performances have meant big money signing Michael Keane has been sat on the bench.
On current form it is hard to see how the former Burnley man gets back into the team.
Everton’s win keeps them in 10th place, and draws them level on points with Marco Silva’s Watford.
Here is a look at how Toffees fans reacted to Holgate’s display…
