Everton boss Marco Silva is said to be keen on snap up Franck Kessie from AC Milan this summer.

Everton fans appear keen to see Franck Kessie at Goodison Park after it was suggested that Marco Silva’s side are interested in the AC Milan midfielder.

Calcio Mercato claim that Everton have joined the race to sign Kessie this summer, as they look to bolster their central midfield.

Andre Gomes has already joined Everton on a permanent deal recently, but it seems that Silva feels that another central midfielder would be good for his side.

And Everton supporters certainly seem to be hoping that Kessie does sign for them.

Kessie looks set to leave AC Milan in the coming weeks, even though he enjoyed an impressive season in Serie A last term.

Kessie scored seven goals and claimed three assists in 34 games for Milan.

If he did come to Everton he could be a long-term replacement for Idrissa Gueye.

Everton finished last season in eighth place, and they are hoping to kick on again in the upcoming campaign.
