Everton are said to be on the hunt to sign Jordan Pickford from Sunderland.

Everton fans are now urging Ronald Koeman to go through and sign Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford this summer (Daily Mirror).

Everton are said to be interested in signing Pickford, who has been in impressive form this season for the Black Cats.

Pickford put in one of his best displays of the campaign last night against Arsenal, as he kept his side in the tie.

The 23-year-old made a succession of brilliant saves to deny Arsenal on numerous occasions.

In the end Sunderland still slipped to a 2-0 defeat, but Everton fans saw enough from Pickford to want him at Goodison Park.

And Twitter was awash with Everton fans urging Koeman to bring the youngster to Merseyside.

Sunderland are believed to be looking for around £17 million for Pickford (Northern Echo).

David Moyes has suggested that Pickford could still stay with Sunderland, but he is widely expected to leave the Stadium of Light, following the Black Cats’ relegation.
