Gueye and Schneiderlin have teamed up in Everton’s midfield of late, and their partnership has earned praise.
Gueye and Schneiderlin have started in Everton’s last three matches, in which they have gone unbeaten.
And Gueye was quick to heap praise on his teammate for his recent displays.
He said: “Morgan is in good form and that is good for the team because he is an important player.”
Everton fans have been less forthcoming with their praise of Schneiderlin though.
The Frenchman may have been in solid form recently, but he has taken on board a lot of criticism this term.
And Everton fans do not seem to have been won over by Schneiderlin’s recent improvements.
Everton are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Southampton, and Gueye and Schneiderlin both look likely to start.
