Gueye featured for Everton in the Premier League game against Burnley at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder started the match and played for 45 minutes, as the Toffees won 3-1.
The Senegal international joined Everton from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £7.1 million.
Gueye has been brilliant for the Toffees so far this season, and Everton fans have sent him messages on Twitter.
Everton are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 33 matches, seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
Ronald Koeman’s side will return to action next weekend when they take on West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
