The Spaniard ended up going back to Barcelona, before making the move to Watford – and he is now really starting to find his feet.
Deulofeu has enjoyed his most productive season to date this term, and his performance in the FA Cup semi-final yesterday certainly had Everton fans talking.
Deulofeu scored twice as Watford beat Wolves 3-2 in extra-time, and Everton supporters have now suggested that the trickster would be a good addition to Marco Silva’s current squad.
Whether Everton have any interest in bringing back Deulofeu remains to be seen.
The Toffees are thought to have money to spend in the summer, but Deulofeu does not appear to be on their radar currently.
