A number of Everton fans have been having their say on Twitter about who they have drawn in the League Cup quarter-final.

The Toffees reached the last eight with a 2-0 win over Watford at Goodison Park on Tuesday night, courtesy of goals from Mason Holgate and Richarlison.

In the last eight, Marco Silva’s charges will be hosting Leicester City, who followed up their 9-0 thrashing of Southampton in the Premier League last week by running out 3-1 winners at Burton Albion on Tuesday.

Everton and Leicester, who meet in the Premier League at the King Power Stadium on December 1 and at Goodison Park on April 4, last locked horns on New Year’s Day, with Jamie Vardy grabbing the only goal of the game on Merseyside.

Here is what some of the Toffees faithful have been saying on social media in response to the draw:

The fixture will take place at Goodison Park on Wednesday 18 December, 7:45pm kickoff, with ticket information to be confirmed (Everton Twitter page).
