Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring for Everton after a defensive mix-up, and outcast Oumar Niasse headed home a second to complete the win.

Conversely, fellow goalscorer Niasse appears to have little chance of first-team football under Ronald Koeman having been completely frozen out by the Dutchman.
Senegal international Niasse has been a real flop since his January move from Lokomotiv Moscow, and whilst fans think that he has been harshly treated, they don’t think he can put himself back in Koeman’s plans no matter how many goals he scores for the Under-23’s.
