Everton have been bizarrely linked with Diego Costa.

Everton are expected to be in the market for a new striker this summer – but few would have predicted Diego Costa as a name linked.
The Toffees have seen the likes of Oumar Niasse and Cenk Tosun struggle in attack, whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin maybe isn’t quite ready to carry the load up top.
Marco Silva and Marcel Brands will be searching for a new striker to bring in, but new reports have suggested that Farhad Moshiri is having a say too.
The Daily Mail reported over the weekend that Moshiri wants Everton to sign Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, who looks set to leave Spain this summer.
The 30-year-old registered just two goals in 16 league games last season, and he looks to have suffered from months on the sidelines at Chelsea.
Costa is not the player he was, and The Liverpool Echo report that the rumours aren’t actually true; but if they are, how would Everton fans react?

Some supporters have taken to Twitter to air their thoughts, feeling that Costa is a pipe dream for Everton, and that the Toffees shouldn’t be sinking considerable funds into a player past his best.
Others feel that Costa would be the ideal player for Calvert-Lewin to learn from, and can offer a short-term boost in attack, meaning there would be a real divided opinion if Moshiri does push for Costa’s signing.
