All eyes were on Wayne Rooney last night as he made his second Everton debut, but he was not the only summer signing on show at Goodison Park.
Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen and Sandro all featured, along with Cuco Martina.
Martina was the only player signed on a free transfer, and he faces an uphill battle to convince fans.
Everton did enough to beat Slovakian side MFK Ruzemborek 1-0, with Leighton Baines scoring a second half goal.
It was not the free flowing night of football Evertonians had hoped for as they kicked off their Europa League campaign, but it was enough.
A clean sheet was the main positive and despite playing his part in that, Cuco Martina did not convince from an attacking perspective.
The full-back was brought in as cover with Seamus Coleman out injured until 2018, and he is a player Ronald Koeman knows from Southampton.
The 27-year-old is settling in like the other new faces, but Everton fans did not think much of his Goodison bow.
