Everton striker Cenk Tosun has started just eight Premier League games this season.
Everton fans have been left angry about Cenk Tosun’s latest comments to Sky Sports.
Everton have been in poor form recently, and have won just three of their last 12 matches.
But the £27 million striker (Sky Sports) seems to believe that Everton are actually improving by the game.
He said: “We have a lot of meetings with the players and we are improving, but we have to work on set-pieces a little more. We have to be smarter and do the things that the manager is asking for. We have to be more concentrated.”
Everton fans have been left less than impressed by Tosun’s words, as they feel that they are a long way from the truth.
Toffees supporters certainly don’t believe that they have seen any improvement from their side of late, and they have criticised the Turkish forward on social media website Twitter.
Tosun has struggled for games at Everton this season, but he did start in Marco Silva’s side’s last match.
Everton were beaten 3-1 by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, as the pressure ramped up even further on Silva.
