Could Everton sensationally sign Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi on deadline day?

Everton supporters on Twitter have been left in disbelief that they could potentially sign Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi on deadline day.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Arsenal have turned down an offer of £30 from Everton for their academy product.
Amid Everton’s interest in Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha, their quest to sign an attacking option has seemingly taken a twist with these Iwobi rumours.
It is fair to say that Everton supporters don’t want their club to sign Iwobi, who hasn’t exactly been a regular at the Emirates Stadium over the years.
However, it could be argued that under the stewardship of Unai Emery last season, Iwobi produced some of his best performances.

But after being linked with Zaha, Everton supporters are concerned that they have gone from potentially signing him to Iwobi.
Even though Zaha plays for a club outside of the Premier League’s top-six, many would argue that Zaha is the better player than the Arsenal man.
Nonetheless, it seems as though Everton are going to be pretty busy on deadline day as they bid to bulk their squad for the forthcoming campaign.
