West Ham United are reportedly eyeing up a move for the Everton starlet, and the reports have gone down extremely poorly amongst Toffees supporters.

Everton fans have been reacting on Twitter to reports coming out of the Daily Mirror over the weekend that suggested that West Ham are eyeing up an audacious move for Toffees midfielder Tom Davies.

Davies is one of the most exciting talents coming through at Goodison Park right now, proving to be a hugely important member of the squad during Ronald Koeman’s tenure.

He has been used slightly less frequently since Sam Allardyce arrived at the club, and the Mirror suggests that the Hammers are now plotting a move for the teenager as David Moyes looks to continue their ascent up the table.

The Mirror suggests that Allardyce has a number of players that he is keen to move on. And while the Mirror makes it clear that they do not know whether Davies is one of the players that could be sold, it appears that the Irons are ready to test Everton’s resolve to keep him by making an offer.

Unsurprisingly, the news has gone down extremely poorly amongst Everton fans, with many suggesting that they will not be able to forgive the club or Sam Allardyce if they end up selling the youngster to their Premier League rivals.

Many feel that Davies will improve significantly in the coming years and letting him leave will prove to be a massive mistake if the club do have any interest in selling.
