Everton’s interest in West Ham United playmaker Manuel Lanzini appears to have prompted a mixed response on social media.
West Ham United’s Manuel Lanzini is on Everton’s radar
Everton fans have been reacting on Twitter after the Daily Mirror suggested that Ronald Koeman is considering a summer move for West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini as he seeks to add more creativity to his side.
Lanzini has been a shining light in an unspectacular season for the Hammers, scoring eight times in the Premier League while also contributing two assists in the top flight.
The Mirror reports that his form has attracted Koeman’s attention, and while he plans to make a move for Swansea talisman and West Ham target, Gylfi Sigurdsson, the 24-year-old is also on his radar as he prepares to potentially lose Ross Barkley as the Toffees midfielder begins to edge towards the final year of his contract.
Interestingly, the reaction amongst Everton fans appears to be very mixed, with some excited about the prospect of bringing Lanzini to Goodison Park, while others seem to be less than inspired about potentially signing the Argentinian.

That may perhaps be down to another recent report from the Daily Mirror which suggested that West Ham wanted more than £30 million for the attacking midfielder, and with a number of Premier League heavyweights interested, it may not be out of the question to suggest that that price may rise further.
With that in mind, here is a closer look at the reaction to the rumour that has left Everton fans fairly divided…
