Oumar Niasse won a penalty for Everton during their clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Oumar Niasse has been charged by The Football Association as the first Premier League player to be banned retrospectively for diving – and Everton fans have reacted angrily to the decision.
The 27-year-old earned the Toffees a penalty on Saturday afternoon during the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace, going down theatrically when challenged by Eagles captain Scott Dann.
Referee Anthony Taylor immediately pointed to the penalty spot, which saw Leighton Baines score his second penalty in two matches by sending goalkeeper Julian Speroni the wrong way.

Crystal Palace had taken the lead in the first minute of the match before Baines equalised just five minutes later. Wilfried Zaha restored Palace’s lead, but a defensive mix-up at the back allowed Senegal international Niasse to score.
The FA confirmed on their official website that former Lokomotiv Moscow striker Niasse had been charged for the dive, which he has until 6pm on Tuesday to respond.
Everton fans contested the decision on Twitter after hearing of the news that their in-form striker had been charged, with one fan describing The FA as a “can of worms”.
