RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick wants Everton loanee Ademola Lookman on a permanent basis.

RedBull Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick has told German magazine Kicker that he could look to sign Everton loanee Ademola Lookman on a permanent basis – and Everton fans have reacted with a mixed response.
Lookman, 20, was shipped out on loan until the end of the season by manager Sam Allardyce in January, after the Toffees signed Theo Walcott from Arsenal and Yannick Bolasie returned from injury.
Since his loan spell, the former Charlton Athletic star has shone in the German Bundesliga, causing havoc for defenders and scoring two goals in seven games as well as providing one assist.

Rangnick said: ““If it were down to us, I’d already know the answer. But it’s not only down to us. We have no clause in the contract. I think that we can only answer the question once the season’s finished. It also depends on what happens at Everton.”
Lookman, who was signed for £11million by Ronald Koeman in January 2017 and scored on his debut in the 4-0 win over Man City, has three years remaining on a contract that the Daily Star claim is worth £23,000 a week.
Everton fans have reacted to Rangnick’s comments in a mixed manner. Some would be gutted to see him go, while others are happy to cash in on the youngster despite Lookman hardly being given a regular chance in the first team.
One fan even claimed Everton “don’t need him anyway”.
