The Dutchman was brought to Crystal Palace by former Everton boss Sam Allardyce.

Everton fans are split over fresh reports linking the Toffees with a move for Crystal Palace left-back Patrick van Aanholt.
The Daily Mail reports that Everton could revive their interest in Van Aanholt, despite the sacking of his former manager at Sunderland and Palace, Sam Allardyce.
The Toffees have however hired the 27-year-old’s fellow Dutchman Marcel Brands as their new director of football – a man who, according to Voetbal International, targeted Van Aanholt for PSV Eindhoven in 2017.

Everton are expected to strengthen in Van Aanholt’s position regardless, with incumbent left-back Leighton Baines now 33.
But is the Crystal Palace star the man to replace him? This is what the Toffees faithful are saying on Twitter…
Van Aanholt, who has been capped seven times by his country, scored five goals and made another in 28 Premier League appearances this season.
Crystal Palace paid a reported £9.5 million to sign the former Chelsea player in January 2017.
