Galloway was sent on loan to Sunderland from Everton last season.

Everton defender Brendan Galloway has told fans on Twitter that he is delighted to return to Goodison Park after a nightmare loan spell with Sunderland last season – and some Everton fans have reacted on Twitter.
Galloway, 22, featured just seven times in the Championship for Sunderland last season, playing only twice after September for the Black Cats as they suffered relegation into League One.
The England youth international was not given much of a chance at the Stadium of Light but hardly helped himself when on the pitch. Now, he has returned to Everton and featured in Monday night’s Premier League Under-23 clash.
David Unsworth’s side beat Leicester City 1-0 thanks to Bassala Sambou’s goal just after half-time, and Galloway posted on Twitter that Goodison Park is his “favourite place” after returning to Merseyside from Wearside.
The chances of Galloway building on his 21 senior Everton appearances are slim, after the club signed Lucas Digne from Barcelona and still boast veteran defender Leighton Baines as back-up.
Also able to play at centre-back, the signing of Yerry Mina and Kurt Zouma have all but closed the door.
Some Everton fans reacted to his Tweet, with the majority wishing him good luck while some praised him for his performance on Monday against Leicester. One fan, though, replied: “I’ve heard that you’ve been itching for a move away.”
