Baningime impressed as Everton lost 3-2 against Chelsea on Wednesday.

Everton fans are reacting positively to Beni Baningime’s debut for the Blues.
The little-known academy product was thrown into Everton’s starting line-up to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, with Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gana Gueye missing.
Baningime has impressed for David Unsworth’s Under-23 side this season, so his inclusion in his manager’s maiden selection as senior team caretaker was perhaps no surprise.

And though Everton may have suffered a 2-1 defeat at the home of the reigning Premier League champions, according to many Toffees fans, Baningime did enough to warrant a starting place against Leicester this weekend.
Some of them believe the 19-year-old could even keep a couple of regulars out of the team long-term. Watch out Messrs Gueye and Schneiderlin (you as well, Mr Besic).
Goals from Antonio Rudiger and Willian looked to have given Chelsea a comfortable 2-0 lead against a competitive Everton side, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a consolation four minutes into second-half added time.
Should Baningime keep his place against Leicester?
