Sam Allardyce suggested that Everton have the same ambition as Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Everton fans cannot believe Sam Allardyce has compared their ambitions with Newcastle United’s and West Ham United’s.
At his press conference today, Allardyce issued a fierce defence of himself, but his comments haven’t gone down well.
Everton fans cannot believe that Allardyce feels the pressure is the same at Goodison Park, as it was at his former clubs.
He said to the Liverpool Echo: “The pressure at Everton is the same as Newcastle and West Ham, but they’ve won a lot more in past years here. But there’s the same at Newcastle and West Ham.
“They have lots of fans that want to see the club win things and Everton are the same. You have to try and build a team to get success back.”
Everton are ahead of both Newcastle and West Ham in the Premier League table this season, and arguably have higher ambitions than both.

The Toffees have expressed a desire to break into the top four in recent times, and they have invested heavily to do so.
However, Allardyce has not lived up to expectations at Goodison Park to date.
The ex-England boss made a bright start with the Toffees, but their form has been abject of late.
And Allaryce is now fighting to save his job, with rumours that he could leave at the end of the season only growing louder.
