Everton have agreed a deal to send Sandro out on loan for the season.
The attacker joins Real Sociedad for the season, his second loan spell away from Goodison Park in 2018.
Sandro’s departure is not necessarily a surprise.
He struggled to make an impact after signing last summer and he has not featured in the Premier League as a starter this year.
What Everton fans are puzzled by, is the decision by manager Marco Silva to hand him a starting spot against Rotherham United in the League Cup just 24 hours earlier.
Sandro helped Everton to a 3-1 victory, and showed some promise, enough to have some fans wishing he had been kept around to provide an alternative option.
