Should Everton make a move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa in the summer transfer window?
Diego Costa is one of the best strikers in the world, but the Spain international does not appear to have a future at Chelsea.
The Spain international is not part of manager Antonio Conte’s squad and is in Brazil at the moment, as reported by The Daily Mail.
According to The Independent, Spanish club Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Costa, but the 28-year-old would not be able to play for them until January due to a transfer ban on the La Liga outfit.
It has been reported that the Madrid outfit are ready to pay just over £40 million as transfer fee in order to sign the player they sold to Chelsea in the summer of 2014.
According to The London Evening Standard, Costa was told in January that he could leave Chelsea this summer.

Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to urge the club to make a move for the Spain international striker in the summer transfer window.
Many of the supporters of the Merseyside outfit have agreed with Joey Barton, who believes that Everton (and Liverpool) should sign Costa.
“If I’m Liverpool or Everton I’m doing everything I can to sign Diego Costa,” the former Newcastle United midfielder told talkSPORT.
“I’m coming in now to Chelsea saying ‘look, you’re clearly prepared to do it having sold [Nemanja] Matic to a title rival in Man United’.
“Liverpool are crying out for a forward of Costa’s ilk and so are Everton. If they want to get into that top four consistently and do well in the Champions League – Everton in the Europa League – you could do a lot worse than Diego Costa.”
