Everton are being linked with a move to sign Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette amid fears over their attacking options under Rafael Benitez.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has suffered an injury setback and Richarlison is only just back from injury.

Salomon Rondon sadly looks out of his depth leading the Everton attack right now, and Marcel Brands may fancy another striker moving forward.

Jeunes Footeux report that Everton are interested in snapping up Lacazette with his Arsenal deal ending next summer.

West Ham United are also keen on Lacazette, who cost Arsenal £53million in 2017 but looks set to leave for nothing.

Everton fans comment on Lacazette

Everton fans have been commenting on Lacazette after hearing this rumour, but seen a little split.

Some believe Everton have simply waited too long to sign Lacazette, believing he should have been Romelu Lukaku’s replacement.

Others do think that Lacazette would be a good signing and would give Everton the striking competition they need.

There are some Everton fans who aren’t convinced though, believing they shouldn’t sign Arsenal players anymore.

The signing of Alex Iwobi haunts Everton fans and just don’t want Lacazette – whether on a free or for cash in January.
