Everton were beaten 3-1 yesterday, with Toffees fans highly frustrated with their side’s showing on the south coast.
And when Everton’s official account tried to be positive, the tweet did not go down well at all with their fans.
Calvert-Lewin’s goal may have been well taken for Everton, but he is still facing questions over his suitability to start up-front for them.
The English youngster was not the worst performer yesterday though, as Everton slipped up.
The Toffees had high hopes going into the campaign, but the pressure is now building on Marco Silva after what has been a mixed start to the campaign.
Everton have collected seven points from their first five games, and although they have shown glimpses of quality, there are real areas of improvement which are needed.
Everton are next in action against Sheffield United at Goodison Park on Saturday, and they will be under huge pressure to pick up three points.
