Everton youngster Hornby struck a hat-trick against Andorra.

Fraser Hornby scored a superb hat-trick for Scotland’s Under-21 side on Thursday night in their European Championship qualifier as Scotland won 3-0 at Tynecastle – and some Everton fans reacted on Twitter with excitement.
Hornby, 18, found the back of the net three times in his sixth Scotland Under-21 cap, opening the scoring from the penalty spot by sending the Andorra goalkeeper the wrong way with a composed finish from the spot.
The Everton striker then showed his predatory instinct by latching onto Chelsea star Billy Gilmour’s excellent delivery to head home from eight yards out, giving the Andorra stopper no chance.
With the match slowing down in tempo as Andorra looked to have given up, Hornby slid home Chris Cadden’s superb low cross to complete his hat-trick and register a comfortable win for Scotland.

Hornby is highly-rated at Goodison Park and even made his debut for the Toffees last season in the trip to Apollon Limassol, which Everton won 3-0. At just 18, he is a regular in David Unsworth’s Under-23 side.
Everton fans reacted to the news that Hornby had struck a hat-trick on the international stage to boost Scotland’s qualification chances, and some were even keen to see him earn a chance in the senior side at Everton.
