Everton are said to be interested in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Everton fans appear divided over reports that they could be set to hand Jack Wilshere an £8 million signing on fee, according to the Daily Mail.

Everton are keen on the Arsenal midfielder, who has played a key role at the Emirates Stadium lately.

Arsenal are thought to want to keep hold of Wilshere, but his contract comes to an end this summer.

And Everton are said to be prepared to tempt the England international into signing by offering him a sizeable fee.

Everton supporters are not in unanimous agreement over the reported plan though.

While some Toffees fans want Wilshere to sign up, others are keen to see Steve Walsh look elsewhere, due to his struggles with injury.

Everton are expected to invest in their squad in the summer, as they have disappointed this season.

The Toffees have failed to live up to expectations, and are currently in ninth place in the Premier League table.
