Bournemouth manager Howe is now second favourite to be Everton’s next manager with one bookmaker.

Some Everton fans would rather their next manager was Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe than Marco Silva.
Silva is widely expected to succeed Sam Allardyce at Everton, with the Daily Mirror suggesting his arrival will follow that of Marcel Brands as director of football on June 1st.
Prior reports claimed Silva’s former club Watford could look to complicate proceedings, however, and the Portuguese is not the only contender according to the bookmakers.

Andre Villas Boas and Mikel Arteta have featured prominently on some bookies’ lists this week, while Howe surpassed both to become Sky Bet’s second favourite on Friday.
And hiring the man who led Bournemouth from League Two to the Premier League across two spells with the south coast club would is a prospect a number of the Everton faithful appear to be warm to.
