In our view, Everton need to appoint someone like Sean Dyche instead of Marcelino.
Marcelino is a very good manager who has extensive experience at big clubs.
The 57-year-old Spaniard has worked at top Spanish clubs such as Sevilla, Villarreal, Valencia and Athletic Bilbao.
Marcelino is without a managerial role at the moment following his departure from Athletic at the end of last season.
While the Spaniard is a very good and experienced manager, given the situation that Everton are in at the moment, they need someone like Dyche who is used to the Premier League relegation fight.
The Toffees need a manager who can come in and make an instant impact.
Remember, like players, managers also need time to get used to a new team in a new country.
