Everton think that Jordan Pickford could be their next big-name player to leave, with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester United all interested in signing the England international goalkeeper, according to GiveMeSport.

The report has claimed that following Richarlison’s departure to Tottenham in the summer of 2022, Everton expect Pickford, who starred for England at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, to be their next big star to leave if they continue to struggle in the Premier League.

Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United could all make moves for the goalkeeper in the summer of 2023, according to the report.

Could Tottenham or Chelsea sign Jordan Pickford?

In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea could be able to sign Jordan Pickford from Premier League rivals Everton, but only in the summer of 2023 and not in the January transfer window.

Everton are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, and manager Frank Lampard will surely not want to sell the 28-year-old in the middle of the campaign.

However, it is hard to see Pickford stay at Goodison Park beyond next summer, especially if Tottenham and/or Chelsea come calling and make offers.

After all, Tottenham and Chelsea regularly challenge for the Premier League top four, win titles and compete in the UEFA Champions League.
