The Toffees striker, 18, was previously with Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers.

Everton academy striker Ellis Simms delivered yet another superb goalscoring display this weekend as he netted a second consecutive hat-trick in the Under-18s 3-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 18-year-old scored a treble last time out against West Bromwich Albion, helping his side to a 3-1 triumph on the road, and on Saturday he repeated the feat at the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground.
Although statistics at Under-18 level are somewhat inconsistent, the Liverpool Echo estimates that Simms has scored 34 goals in 23 games in all competitions this season, while EFC Statto has him down as having netted 41 goals in 33 appearances across the various age groups.
Everton’s official Twitter account praised their player following his latest hat-trick:
Here is how some of the Toffees faithful reacted, with quite a few urging caution, while others think he should be given a first-team run:
The forward started his career with Manchester City before moving to Blackburn Rovers in 2017, but he only had a short stint at Ewood Park and eventually linked up with Everton ahead of the 2017-18 season after a trial (Liverpool Echo).
