Everton are interested in appointing Brentford boss Thomas Frank as their new manager following the sacking of Frank Lampard, according to Sky Sports.
Everton linked with Brentford manager Thomas Frank
The report has claimed that Everton are ‘big admirers’ of Frank, who is doing a brilliant job at Premier League rivals Brentford.
However, the Merseyside club are ‘unsure’ if they can convince the 49-year-old to move to Goodison Park now.
Everton are on the hunt for a new manager following the dismissal of Lampard on Monday.
Unlikely to happen
In our view, it is unlikely that Thomas Frank will leave Brentford for Everton now or at the end of the season.
We simply do not see that happening.

Yes, Everton are a bigger and more historic club than Brentford, but the Toffees could genuinely get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
As for Brentford, the Bees could qualify for Europe next season.
So, why would the 49-year-old Frank leave Brentford for Everton now?
Or in the summer of 2023.
We think that Everton would be better off focusing their attention on someone else, like Sean Dyche, who is without a managerial job at the moment and knows what it takes to keep teams up in the Premier League from his time at Burnley.
