Everton enjoyed a busy deadline day, with new manager Frank Lampard managing to lure Dele Alli to Goodison Park.
The Toffees needed to get plenty done in the final hours of the January window and they absolutely pulled it off.
Everton first appointed Lampard as their new manager having sacked Rafael Benitez earlier in January.
Lampard then saw Everton make two first-team signings before the deadline, bolstering his midfield.
Donny van de Beek arrived on loan from Manchester United before Dele Alli decided to leave Tottenham for a permanent Everton switch.
Alli had been made surplus to requirements at Tottenham with Antonio Conte seemingly not a huge fan of the midfielder.
Alli was a star of the Mauricio Pochettino era at Tottenham, smashing 46 goals in his first three seasons at Spurs.
The following three-and-a-half years were much more difficult for Alli though, managing to find the net just 21 times.
Now 25 and in danger of fading into obscurity at Tottenham, Alli simply needed a fresh start away from Spurs.
Playing under Lampard could be ideal, as he certainly knows how to score goals from midfield and make late runs into the box.
Everton have now released a video of Lampard meeting Alli as the pair join forces on Merseyside.
Upon shaking hands with Alli, Lampard simply offered a three-word message to the new Everton signing – ‘we did it’.
It seems that Lampard has wanted to work with Alli for a while now, and that message just sums up how excited Lampard is to get this deal done.
It may take a while to get Alli up to speed, but many will be hoping to see him return to his past glories and thrive once again in the Premier League.
