Everton’s Michael Keane endured a torrid time in Sam Allardyce’s side’s match against Burnley.

Michael Keane has made a mockery of Sam Allardyce’s comments about him, with his performance in Everton’s latest match against Burnley.
Keane has featured regularly for the Toffees recently, with the centre-back becoming a key part of Allardyce’s starting line-up.
The Toffees boss was full of praise for the England international only last week, suggesting that he was going from strength to strength.

He said to the club’s official website: “Since he has been in [the team] he has been getting better and better. He is getting his confidence back.”
However, Keane’s performance against Burnley suggested that his poor form was not behind him.
Keane was given all sorts of problems by Burnley’s front line, with Ashley Barnes certainly winning the battle between the pair.

Burnley had struggled for goals all campaign, but Keane seemingly couldn’t cope with their attacking quality.
The 25-year-old was partly at fault for the first goal which Everton conceded, and he looked uncomfortable throughout the contest.
And Allardyce can no longer claim that Keane is getting better and better, as it seems that his struggles since his move £25 million move to Goodison Park are far from over.
