Everton have loaned Luke Garbutt to Oxford United, but he has made an awful start.

Everton defender Luke Garbutt’s loan misery at Oxford United continue last night, as he was dropped by Karl Robinson for his side’s match against Accrington Stanley.

Everton have loaned Garbutt to the League One side for the season, but it is fair to say that the left-back has not made a good first-impression.

HITC ran an article showing how Oxford fans had reacted to Garbutt’s performance against Portsmouth last weekend, when the Everton loanee was slated.

The 24-year-old Toffees man really needed this loan spell to kick start his career, which had been stalling.

But it has been a miserable start for Garbutt, who really needs things to turn around for him in the coming months.
