Everton defender Lucas Digne has admitted to RMC Sport that he is aware of interest from other clubs, amid rumours that Tottenham Hotspur want to buy him.

The Daily Star have suggested that Spurs want to move for Digne in a £36 million deal, after being impressed by his form at Everton.

Lyon have also been tentatively linked with the Toffees’ left-back.

And Digne has admitted that he knows some clubs are interested in him, but seemingly ruled out Lyon as a option, offering hope to Spurs.

“A return to France, OL? I’m not aware. I am aware of the interest of other clubs, but not of Lyon,” Digne said.

If Tottenham did snap up Digne it would be a momentous coup for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and would be a major blow to Everton.

Digne won Player of the Season in his first campaign at Goodison Park, with his performances really catching the eye.

Digne has disloged Leighton Baines as Everton’s starting left-back, and is playing a key role for Marco Silva’s side.

Tottenham would be able to offer him Champions League football though, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men are thought to have considerable funds to spend this summer.
