Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Everton have an agreement in place with Manchester United over signing Donny van de Beek ahead of Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Everton are ready to pay Van de Beek’s full salary until the end of the season.
Palace are also keen on the Netherlands international midfielder, according to Romano, who has added that the Eagles are not willing to cover the 24-year-old midfielder’s salary in full.
The 24-year-old former Ajax star earns £100,000 per week as salary (Salary Sport).
Both Everton and Palace want to sign Van de Beek on loan until the end of the season.

Everton or Crystal Palace for Donny van de Beek?
In our view, it is not going to be easy for Van de Beek to pick between Everton and Palace.
Both are big and established clubs in the Premier League.
Palace are doing well and playing expansive football under Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.
Yes, Everton are in danger of getting sucked into a relegation fight, but they are about to appoint Chelsea legend Frank Lampard as their new manager.
And it is Lampard himself who has reportedly asked the Everton bosses to get him Van de Beek on loan.
