Liverpool are reportedly interested in Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez, but Everton should consider a move for the winger.

The Toffees are most certainly a team on the rise, and under Ronald Koeman, they are slowly beginning to show signs of just how good they can be.
There are high levels of excitement emanating from Goodison Park at the moment, and had it not been for an injury time winner for Liverpool in the Merseyside derby in December, just three points would separate the two sides.
And finishing above the Reds in the league must be one of the Dutchman’s key targets over the coming years – something that they are undoubtedly working towards.
This summer’s transfer window will be hugely important for Everton, if they are to strengthen their squad to the kind of level that will be required in order to challenge for the top four.
And a fantastic way to get an immediate kick-start on their cross-town rivals would be by making an attempt to sign Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez.
Spanish news outlet Sport claimed yesterday that Jürgen Klopp is contemplating a £30 million move for the Algerian in the summer, and Koeman should do everything within his power to challenge Liverpool for his signature.

The 26-year-old winger would be ideal for Everton, and would provide them with something totally different to what they currently have amongst their ranks.
Having Mahrez’ skill and vision with Romelu Lukakau in the centre would be a fearsome prospect.
Everton already have pacey wingers such as Yannick Bolasie and Aaron Lennon, so the addition of a more cultured attacker could be just what they need to help aid their progression.
The fact that Mahrez is a Premier League winner would also be a huge bonus for the Toffees, with the added experience of winning that he would bring to the squad.
And if Koeman could bring the Algerian to the club ahead of Liverpool, the tide really could begin to turn on Merseyside.
