Everton were said to be targeting Joe Bryan of Bristol City back in the January transfer window.

Everton could surely blow Fulham out of the water in the race to sign Joe Bryan from Bristol City, if they are still interested in the left-back.

Everton were strongly linked with Bryan during the January transfer window in the Daily Mirror, but could not get a deal over the line.

The Toffees have still not solved their left-back problem, but new competitors for the full-back have emerged.

The Mirror claim that Fulham are interested in snapping up Bryan this summer, to bolster their squad after promotion.

However, if Everton do want Bryan then they would still surely be the favourites to land him.

Everton have the potential to offer more in terms of transfer fees and wages than Fulham, and they also would be the more appealing club to join.

Bryan could still remain a good option for the Toffees, as his form in the Championship has been highly impressive.

And if Marco Silva does want to bring the 24-year-old to Goodison Park then he should still feel confident that Everton could win the race, despite the increased competition.
