Tottenham are eyeing up Everton attacker Richarlison, and they may have to propose a part-exchange deal in order to get the Brazilian out of Goodison Park.

According to one report, Spurs would be willing to swap one Brazilian for another, with Lucas Moura being touted as a potential makeweight in this deal.

Everton could well end up with Moura in place of Richarlison, but what type of player would they be getting if Lucas ended up at Goodison Park.

Well, above all else, Lucas is a speedster and Gareth Bale has even stated that the winger may be quicker than he is.

What’s been said?

Bale spoke to the Sky Sports YouTube channel last year about who’d win in a race between himself and Lucas.

“It would be a good race I think if I was a few years younger I reckon it would be me, but Lucas over the first 10 yards is very sharp, but after that it’s a difficult one I think, there’s a few who probably fancy themselves,” Bale said.

New dynamic

If Lucas ends up playing for Everton then he’ll bring a whole new dynamic to Frank Lampard’s side.

Yes, Everton do have some quick players, but Lucas’s directness and dribbling ability would give the Toffees a fresh focal point of their attack.

Of course, losing Richarlison would be a blow, but the potential of a partnership between Lucas and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is mouth-watering in its own way.

Everton could really benefit from this reported part-exchange deal.
