Everton could be in line to land a bargain by signing Marcos Rojo from Manchester United, as his price has dropped so dramatically since the summer.

The Daily Mail reported that Everton were interested in Rojo when his price-tag was set at around £30 million.

However, the centre-back has barely featured for United this term, and his value has fallen.

United are now believed to be asking for £18 million, with the Metro suggesting that Everton are closing in on the Argentine this time around.

If Everton can land Rojo for almost half the price they originally wanted him for then it will have to be considered a fine piece of business from Marcel Brands.

Everton have already landed some significant transfers since Brands took over their recruitment, and Rojo could become the Toffees’ seventh addition since Marco Silva took charge.
