Everton have joined the race for Conor Gallagher but the Chelsea midfielder isn’t particularly interested in leaving Stamford Bridge.
That’s according to The Daily Mail, who claim that a host of clubs want to sign Gallagher this month.
It’s unclear whether that would be loan or permanent, but it doesn’t much matter – Gallagher isn’t interested in leaving Chelsea.
The report claims that Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Everton, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United have all made contact to try and sign Gallagher.
Yet as long as Gallagher is in first-team contention at Chelsea, he just has no interest in leaving West London.
Gallagher has been in and around the starting XI under Graham Potter and that looks set to continue moving forward.

Everton target Conor Gallagher loves Frank Lampard
Everton have been linked with a number of Chelsea players ever since appointing Frank Lampard as manager last year.
None of the rumours have paid off and it looks like the same will happen with Gallagher.
As a box-to-box midfield player who loves to arrive late into the box and score, Gallagher has some shades of Lampard to his game.
Gallagher even admitted to BT Sport last year that his idol growing up was Lampard during his Chelsea days.
That means a move to Everton to play under Lampard may be quite appealing to Gallagher.
Yet it just isn’t the right time for that kind of move, no doubt much to the annoyance of Lampard as he fights to save his job.
Gallagher is clearly valued by Potter and Everton’s dismal Premier League form means they’re now in a relegation battle.
Gallagher isn’t going to sign up for that and Everton now need to move on, just like Newcastle and the other clubs in the race to sign the 22-year-old.
