The Times have reported that Newcastle, Fulham and Everton all are interested in signing defender Tarkowski, who is out of contract at Burnley this summer and will become a free transfer.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Leeds want to sign the 29-year-old English centre-back this summer.
However, according to The Times, Everton officials are confident of getting a deal for Tarkowski done.
Good signing for the Toffees this summer
In our view, James Tarkowski would be a good signing for Everton and would make Frank Lampard’s side better.
That Newcastle and Leeds are among the clubs who are keen on the Englishman underlines his quality.
Tarkowski is 29 now and is at the top of his game at the moment, and, in our view, he would be able to make an immediate impact at Everton.
The defender scored one goal and gave two assists in 35 Premier League matches for Burnley this past season.
